Get GUILTY GEAR Xrd -REVELATOR- (+DLC Characters) + REV 2 All-in-One (does not include optional DLCs) (basically the one for 20 bucks) It has all character DLC currently released, the other DLCs are worthless as they have no bearing on gameplay, system voices are basically like announcers but i think you can get them in game for free along with the colors. colors and sounds(?) What are those system voices? The only dlc I think I want is Dizzy dlc. Exept REV 2 dlc are there other dlcs I sould buy? I looked ate the store page and most of them are alt. I don't think there's a reason to buy SIGN atm, also if you want to play online I think REV2 is a must as the others aren't populated. Thanks to a solid understanding of core fighting game mechanics, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- is the installment fans have been waiting for. Beware, you are proposing to add brand new pages to the wiki along with your edits.

Originally posted by KyoSto:Revelator is the new release in the Xrd series of guilty gear, REV2 is sort of a sequel or upgrade to Revelator, SIGN was the first Xrd game and is outdated, less characters and non of the balance changes to the cast that came with Revelator, it does have a different story story than Revelator IIRC but that's about it. He was the head of the Assassin's Guild, but after many battles his body weakened and Eddie, the shadow Zato-1 uses to fight, took control of it. The only things missing from that are character colours and system voices. The'res a bundle that gets you everything you need on the game's store page and it's "GUILTY GEAR Xrd -REVELATOR- (+DLC Characters) + REV 2 All-in-One (does not include optional DLCs)". If you ever intend to play online, you'll need Revelator and the Rev 2 DLC, since people only play Rev 2 now. Gameplay wise, it adds 2 characters and makes lots of small changes here and there. Story wise, it has 3 short movies taking place after Revelator's story mode.

Single player modes were improved too, the tutorials are better and there's more stuff to do and unlock.

The story is a sequel to Sign, the game includes new characters (both returning veterans and brand new characters), big changes to the gameplay for all the characters as well as system mechanics and in general it's a massive improvement over Sign in every aspect. Revelator was intended to be DLC for Sign, but it ended up being its own game. It introduced new mechanics, moves and characters, while also stripping away most of the mechanics from Accent Core. Sign was the first in the Xrd series, which began a new story that continues from Guilty Gear 2 -Overture.

Unfortunately -STRIVE- launches with a mere 15 characters, which I hope will finally surpass the 25-mark, even if it has to be through DLC.TLDR: "GUILTY GEAR Xrd -REVELATOR- (+DLC Characters) + REV 2 All-in-One (does not include optional DLCs)" This is the one you wanna get. If there’s one negative thing I can say about Guilty Gear’s characters, is that there are too many of them that we only got the chance to play once or twice, and the biggest roster we’ve had so far in a GG game is 25 characters (in GGXXACPR and then GGXRD -REV-). The Guilty Gear franchise has been running for more than two decades, and with -STRIVE- on the horizon, it’s only getting better! With Xrd -Sign-, developer Arc System Works ditches the series' 2D. Celebrating its rich 16-year history as one of the most innovative fighting games ever, Guilty Gear Xrd-SIGN- brings its completely redesigned, extreme style and unique 3D animation to. Guilty Gear offers the most unique character playstyles in a fighting game, since more than half of the roster, employs inputs and mechanics that can’t be seen in other characters. Guilty Gear is a niche series within a niche genre, one that's enjoyed a cult following since its first appearance in 1998. Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, the newest entry of the critically acclaimed and revolutionary Guilty Gear fighting game series, will be available this holiday season.
